About the Role:

Mashreq Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager, Learning & Development to join our People & Intellectual Capital Group (IC&OD).This role is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, administration, and governance of learning and development initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing employee capability, managing learning operations, supporting structured development programs, leveraging learning technologies, and delivering an exceptional learning experience across the Bank.This is an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about talent development, learning technology, data analytics, and creating impactful learning solutions that support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS) and other learning platforms to ensure seamless delivery of learning services.
• Coordinate and oversee learning programs, workshops, and development initiatives across the organization.
• Manage learning nominations, registrations, course assignments, assessments, and surveys.
• Track, analyze, and report learning metrics, dashboards, and training effectiveness using tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Publish and maintain the annual learning catalogue and training calendar.
• Support the design, delivery, and facilitation of behavioural and professional development programs.
• Coordinate employee induction programs and ensure a positive onboarding learning experience.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify capability gaps and support learning needs analysis activities.
• Manage relationships with external training providers and ensure quality delivery of learning solutions.
• Support compliance, audit, regulatory reporting, policy governance, and learning administration activities.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience, preferably within Learning & Development, Talent Development, or Human Resources.
• Experience working within a large organization, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
• Hands-on experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HR learning platforms.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI, with the ability to generate actionable learning insights.
