DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

Vendor Manager is a critical role at Exclusive Networks. Management of select vendor relationships and ownership of day-to-day revenue and profit targets. Development of new business opportunities via existing and new GTM channels

As a Vendor Manager, you will:

  • Strong understanding of the vendor, their business and strategic objectives
  • Alignment with key vendor stakeholders - acting as their primary point of contact within Exclusive Networks
  • Focus on GTM opportunities and an understanding of how Exclusive Networks can grow its business with the vendor
  • Responsible for vendor governance – running QBRs, peer networking, business planning, and reporting
  • Understand where the vendor complements and competes within the existing vendor landscape and work with stakeholders to design and promote solutions accordingly
  • Working to achieve both individual and team targets against agreed profit requirements
  • Work closely with the internal & external sales teams to develop the existing business, including:
  • Recruit, enable and drive new resellers
  • Promote Exclusive Networks GTM message
  • Develop end user lead generation programs with resellers
  • Implement sales & technical training programs
  • Produce weekly sales forecast reports and run quarterly business review

General:

  • The ability to form, build and farm relationships, network effectively and intelligently, internally, within the vendor, and partner base
  • The ability to clearly articulate Exclusive Network’s message to key vendor and partner stakeholders   
  • Drive and determination to seek out new opportunities, nurture pipeline and close business
  • Liaising with internal departments eg: Operations, sales, technical consultants, in order to fulfil customer needs, such as arranging demonstrations, organizing quotes, logistics and customer risk management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Vendor Manager:

  • 4+ years’ experience in a Sales, Product Specialist or Vendor Management Role
  • End User Sales experience – partner & business development, pipeline management and deal closing
  • Knowledge of the Cyber security landscape

Essential Skills Required:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an external facing role
  • Demonstrate recent success in working with partners and end users
  • Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to their workload
  • Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and commercial challenges for distribution
  • Target-orientated
  • Experienced presenting to senior level contacts
  • Clear communication Analytical skills
