Veterinary Ophthalmologist with DHA

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Ophthalmologist who can perform catract surgery with DHA (Dubai Health Authority) certification to join our veterinary clinic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye conditions in animals. Your expertise will help in improving the quality of life for pets facing ocular issues. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations for a range of species, including dogs, cats, and other small animals.
• Diagnose ocular diseases and formulate effective treatment plans.
• Perform advanced ocular surgeries, such as cataract removal, glaucoma surgeries, and eyelid corrections.
• Administer medications and therapies to manage eye conditions.
• Educate pet owners about maintaining their animals’ eye health and preventative care strategies.
• Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and veterinary technicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary ophthalmology and pursue continuing education opportunities.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as per regulatory requirements.

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency in Veterinary Ophthalmology.
• DHA certification to practice in Dubai.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in veterinary ophthalmology.
• Proven perform catract surgery for various animal species.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and staff.
• Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on animal welfare.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
