Videographer & Editor

Role Purpose

The Videographer is responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality video content for digital, broadcast, and social media platforms. The role ensures content is visually compelling, aligns with creative vision, and meets production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment for video shoots
• Capture high-quality video content for projects, events, and campaigns
• Ensure footage meets technical and creative standards

Editing & Post-Production

• Edit video content, including cutting, color grading, and sound mixing
• Add graphics, titles, and effects as required
• Ensure final video output aligns with creative vision and brand guidelines

Content Collaboration

• Work closely with producers, content creators, and creative teams
• Contribute ideas for storytelling, shot composition, and visual style
• Align video content with project objectives and audience needs

Equipment & Technical Management

• Maintain cameras, lenses, and other production equipment
• Troubleshoot technical issues during shoots and post-production
• Ensure all equipment is properly stored and ready for use

Innovation & Trend Awareness

• Stay updated on video production trends, tools, and techniques
• Experiment with new filming and editing techniques to enhance content quality
• Suggest improvements to video production workflows

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Quality, creativity, and timeliness of video output
• Alignment of videos with project objectives and brand guidelines
• Audience engagement and feedback
• Efficient use and maintenance of equipment
• Contribution to innovative production techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in videography or video production
• Strong portfolio of video work demonstrating technical and creative skills
• Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
