Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced surgical procedures on abdominal organs, including digestive tract, liver, pancreas, and others.
• Assess patient conditions through clinical evaluation and diagnostic tools to develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Work closely with fellow specialists to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Oversee pre-operative preparation and post-operative management to ensure patient safety and recovery.
• Provide clear communication to patients and their families regarding treatment options and recovery expectations.
• Maintain thorough medical records and surgical documentation.
• Stay abreast of latest surgical advancements and integrate best practices into clinical work.

• Medical qualification with specialization in Visceral Surgery from a recognized institution.
• Valid board certification in General Surgery plus specialization in Visceral Surgery.
• Licensure to practice medicine in Abu Dhabi/UAE is mandatory or willingness to obtain.
• Proven experience performing complex visceral surgery procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of abdominal anatomy, surgical techniques, and patient management.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and critical decision-making skills.
• Ability to function effectively in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
