Job Description - VP of Sales

KeyResponsibilities

  • Drive our go-to-market strategy; thisleader must be strategically facile and innovative, with theability to take a vision and translate it into strategy (goals,priorities, and tactics)
  • Build, motivate, andlead a high performing sales and go-to-market organization; thisindividual will attract, recruit, and retaintalent
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalleaders to craft, implement, and execute on operational businessstrategies that will drive rapid revenue growth and establish ourfootprint in the market
  • Provide strategicguidance, insight, and knowledge about market trends, customerattitudes, and effectiveness of sales strategies. Ensure customersatisfaction and retention while seeking to maximize account growthand penetration
  • Provide leadership andoversight for the sales team, including mentoring, coaching, anddevelopment to drive goal attainment; provide clear and regularcommunication to sales teams relative to company direction,performance, and achievements
  • Win the market bydriving revenue and new logoacquisition
  • Promote the product and supportcustomer success and partnerships
  • Participatein formulating key strategic decisions as a part of the companyleadership team

Experience &Knowledge

  • Track record inleading and building successful teams, while operating themselvesin an urgent and highly driven manner
  • Deepexpertise across multiple customer segments ranging from Mid-marketto Enterprise customers & pricepoints
  • Excellent communication skills andability to collaborate cross-functionally with allteams
  • Strong mentoring and process developmentskills (ex. Uplevelling BDR’s by providing competitivedifferentiation training)
  • Experience leadinggrowth from $20M+ to $50M+ in ARR and leading a sales team of 10+people
  • Demonstrated ability to build anauthentic sales process from scratch and drive a thoughtful salesprocess
  • Established ability at building andleading impactful teams to deliver revenue andresults
  • Proven Track Record of collaboratingoptimally with marketing, business development, and customersuccess to build a strong, cohesive go-to-marketmachine
  • Validated evangelical sales experiencewith a new product/new marketenvironment.
