MAINDUTIES:

• Toprovide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible serviceat all times, following Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach Standards ofPerformance.
• To be entirely flexible and adaptto rotate within the different sub departments of the Food& Beverage Division or any other Department of the hotel asassigned.
• To carry out any other reasonableduties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Toundertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned bythe Assistant Manager and supervisor.
• Toperform opening and closing procedures established for the place ofwork as assigned.
• To provide high standard ofquality and efficient / friendly service as per StandardOperational Procedures.
• To ensure that theplace of work and surrounding area is kept clean and organized atall times.
• To monitor operating supplies andreduce spoilage and wastage.
• To report for dutypunctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag. To maintain ahigh standard of personal appearance and hygiene and adhere to thehotel and department appearance standards.
• Toprovide friendly, courteous and professional service at alltimes.
• To maintain good working relationshipswith colleagues and all other departments.
• Toread and understand the hotel’s Employee Handbook and toadhere to the hotel’s rules and regulations and inparticular, the policies and procedures relating to Fire, Hygiene,Health and Safety.
• To comply with locallegislation as required.
• To respond to anychanges in the department as dictated by the needs of thehotel.
• To be flexible and extend job duties tocarry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities withinthe job capability as assigned, including redeployment toalternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demandsand guest service needs.
