Website Manager (e-commerce)

Responsible for the day-to-day management of all group websites ensuring they are continuously monitored for performance and user experience.

In collaboration with IT, the Marketing Department and Directors develop and implement brand strategies to grow web traffic, increase brand awareness, enhance functionality, and generate sales via e-commerce while providing a world class user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility of ensuring the websites are up to date and engaging
• Optimizing site performance by conducting regular testing
• Develop strategies to grow subscriber base and increase website traffic
• Work alongside the Category, Digital & Marketing Managers to ensure all accuracy of all content, articles, videos, images and data
• Work with the Digital Manager to implement SEO strategies to increase site visibility
• Analyze website metrics and user feedback to drive traffic and make general improvements
• Work closely with the Marketing Director to ensure all websites align with the company brand strategy
• Manage the web developer and web merchandising teams
• Keep up to date with industry standards and monitor competitor websites
• Overall responsibility for compliance of website standards and regulations

Core competencies:

• A degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering
• 4-5 years Website Management experience
• Knowledge of Web development and Analytics tools – Magento, WordPress/Google Analytics
• Experience in UI/UX development (user interface and user experience)
• Strong Attention to detail with an analytical mind
• A highly motivated team player
• Strong project management, organizational and planning skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professional
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Experience of working under pressure and tight deadlines
• Extensive knowledge of SEO, PPC, CMS, HTML
