Day Wellsite Geologist

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Offshore)

We are seeking an experienced Day Wellsite Geologist to support offshore drilling operations in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret geological and drilling data in real time.
• Supervise mudlogging, LWD/MWD, wireline logging, and coring activities.
• Identify formation tops, lithology, hydrocarbon shows, and geological hazards.
• Provide geological recommendations for casing points, coring intervals, and drilling operations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and end-of-well geological reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and ADNOC requirements.
• Coordinate with drilling teams, service companies, and office-based geoscientists.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geoscience, or a related Earth Science discipline (Master's is an advantage).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Wellsite Geologist on offshore drilling projects.
• Strong experience with offshore exploration, carbonate reservoirs, and sour gas (HS) environments.
• Familiarity with UAE offshore geology is highly preferred.
• Experience supervising mudlogging, LWD/MWD, wireline logging, and coring operations.
• Strong geological interpretation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Valid OPITO BOSIET/T-BOSIET certification is an advantage.
