Job Summary

We are looking for a Workshop Coordinator
to manage the day-to-day operations of a busy workshop supporting a fleet of
heavy-duty trucks, trailers, vans, and material handling equipment (MHE). The
successful candidate will coordinate maintenance schedules, monitor repairs,
manage workshop documentation, and ensure maximum fleet availability while
maintaining safety and compliance standards.

Key
Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive and corrective
  maintenance schedules for fleet vehicles and MHE.
  
• Monitor repair progress and ensure timely
  completion of workshop jobs.
  
• Prepare and maintain job cards, maintenance
  records, and service reports.
  
• Coordinate with drivers, mechanics,
  suppliers, and operations teams.
  
• Manage spare parts requests and monitor
  inventory levels.
  
• Coordinate procurement of spare parts from
  approved suppliers.
  
• Track vehicle registrations, insurance,
  permits, and service schedules.
  
• Monitor workshop expenses, petty cash, and
  maintenance-related documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with UAE safety
  regulations and workshop procedures.
  
• Prepare regular reports on vehicle
  maintenance, downtime, and workshop performance.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical
  Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  
• 3 to 5 years of experience in workshop
  coordination, fleet management, or transport operations.
  
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks,
  trailers, and material handling equipment (MHE).
  
• A valid UAE Driving Licence is mandatory.
  
• Good knowledge of workshop documentation
  and fleet management systems.
  
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with
  ERP or Fleet Management Systems is an advantage.
  
• Good understanding of UAE RTA regulations.
  
• Strong communication, coordination, and
  organizational skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  and manage multiple priorities.
