Job Description - Assistant Boutique Manager

Job Description:

As an Assistant Boutique Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the boutique, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. You will assist the Boutique Manager in overseeing staff, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service. Your responsibilities will include training and developing team members, monitoring sales performance, and implementing strategies to meet sales targets. Additionally, you will be involved in merchandising, ensuring that the boutique is visually appealing and well-stocked at all times. The ideal candidate will have previous retail experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities

  • Assist the Boutique Manager in day-to-day operations and management of the boutique.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Help in achieving sales targets by promoting products, upselling, and providing product knowledge to customers.
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving and processing shipments, as well as conducting regular stock checks.
  • Assist in creating attractive merchandise displays to enhance the visual appeal of the boutique.
  • Train and supervise sales staff to ensure they meet performance standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and according to company policies.
  • Support the Boutique Manager in scheduling and organizing staff to ensure adequate coverage during business hours.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the boutique to provide an inviting shopping environment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and competitors to make informed recommendations and decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
