Job Description - CWM EDD Manager

Job Description Key Responsibilities:
To review and monitor the team reporting to the Manager from guidance, training and supervision perspective
To review and arrange senior management risk acceptance for relationships identified with compliance concerns and for which risk mitigants are introduced to continue the relationship
To review and arrange approval from the GM CWM & Compliance for the PEPs who are identified on trigger basis.
To ensure that the unit meets the optimum levels in attaining the audit ratings
To ensure that the unit attains the optimum levels in the periodic QA ratings
To assist the head of the unit in carrying out the adhoc EDD reviews received from the Senior Management.
Act as a point of contact for handling the INA/ QA reviews and meetings.
To work as a trouble shooter for the unit head and identify the gaps in the processes and systems by their proactive involvement in the day to day activities
To assist the internal stake holders by conducting periodic meetings and resolving their issues if any
Attend to the Business queries and provide solutions and guidance to their respective teams so that such issues are not recurred in future.
Provides support to ensure that various units within CWM are compliant with the bank's internal policies, external imperatives and regulatory environment.
Works closely with other support functions to ensure Service Level Agreements are in place and measure performance through MIS reports.
Ensure follow up support on compliance projects and ongoing compliance issues
Job Skills & Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years professional experience in Banking with extensive experience in Operations, Compliance, Retail Banking, Branch Banking.
At least 3 years of experience in a relevant position required.
A proven track record of consistent performance and achievement.
