Job Description - Sales Executive

Company Description

COÉGA Sunwear is a UAE-based homegrown brand that offers swimwear for the whole family. We provide high-quality, sustainable and eco-friendly sun protective swimwear and beachwear made with UV50+ European fabrics that are lightweight, quick-drying, chlorine and saltwater-resistant.

Role Description

The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

Job Responsibilities

Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.

Meet sales revenue targets on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

Participate in weekly sales meetings to review current client's requirement, sales prospects and action plan to drive business.

Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential growth areas.

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue.

Customer Account Management:

Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers.

Consults with production team to ensure raw material inventory reflects, or will meet, expected sales trends.

Coordinate payment follow-ups and collections with the finance department.

Generate order suggestions and process orders for customers.

Collaborate with buyers to review seasonal buys and align seeking alignment with sales objectives.

Inventory Management:

Plan and execute stock count at retail partners to optimize inventory levels.

Report variances and recommend solutions to ensure accurate inventory management.

Monitor and facilitate inter-branch transfers of stock as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams:

Communicate confirmed orders and production requirements to the production team.

Monitor delivery schedules and communicate any issues regarding stock levels.

Collaborate with marketing on sales incentives, branding initiatives, and promotional activities.

Provide support to other sales team members and assist with ad-hoc projects as required.

Conduct checks on PLM data and images to ensure accuracy before each season.

Coordinate payment follow-ups and collections with the finance department.

Reporting:

Compiles business intelligence or trends to support actionable recommendations.

Summarizes financial and economic data reports for review by manager and stakeholders. 

Prepare and maintain sales templates, price lists for sales activities.

Maintain and update inventory reports, and sales trackers as needed.

Job Specifications

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business Management or related field with an emphasis in mathematics or statistics required.

• At least three years of experience preparing sales analyses and forecasts in a marketing environment required.

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the fashion industry. 

• Proven experience in the Middle East region. 

• Excellent ability to analyze information and think systematically.

• Experience with budget management and financial analysis.

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

Skills

• A deep knowledge of the retail industry, including competitor activity.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Pivot Table and Vlookup is a MUST. This skill will be tested at the interview stage.

• Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

• Experience in the textile or fashion industry is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Collaborative team player with a customer-centric approach.

• Adaptability to changing market trends and business needs.

• Driving license and own vehicle
