Job Description

Dutco Construction Group started operations in the United Arab Emirates in the 1970s. The Group comprises of the following Companies:

BK Gulf LLC is looking to recruit experienced Senior P&D Engineer to work in MEP Projects, this is across Residential / Villas and Retail Sectors. Project are valued between AED 300m to 400m.

Duties

We require experienced Senior P&D Engineer, who have on similar valued Projects, for a Tier 1 / Tier 2 MEP Contractors. Duties will include:

1. Prepares and issues the relevant submittals
2. Arranges for the necessary material take off and procurement requisitions.
3. Arrange for the necessary procurement erection.
4. Monitors the coordination on site.
5. Monitor the various plumbing works such as firefighting, piping & drainage.
6. Managing &Co-ordination of all project drawings, and associated technical data, gaining necessary approvals and ensuring the distribution and availability of the data.
7. Review Contract drawings/specification and initiation of field notices/requests for information where deficiencies or ambiguities are identified within contract specification/drawings.
8. Review and respond to Client/Engineers correspondence.
9. Review of contract drawings and preparation of schematic and coordinated working drawings for CAD Draughtsman/operators.
10. Preparation and checking of design data.
11. Prepare and produce calculations, Production of alternatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

UAE/MOFA Attested bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related fields. Minimum 15 years work experience as Senior P&D Engineer in MEP Project preferably from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 MEP Contracting Company. Projects worked on, as Senior P&D Engineer should be in excess of AED 400m, managing significantly large packages and scope of works.
