Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the business development department, aligning goals with the overall company objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s market presence in the BPO industry.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats in the BPO industry.
  • Evaluate market demands and customer needs to develop targeted strategies for business expansion and client acquisition.
Client Relationship Management :
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business requirements and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to enhance their operational efficiency through BPO services.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performance business development team.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Revenue Generation and Sales Targets:
  • Set revenue targets and sales goals for the business development team and monitor their progress towards achieving these targets.
  • Drive the development of new business opportunities and partnerships, ensuring a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities.
Strategic Partnerships and Alliances:
  • Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships and alliances with key industry players, technology partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Leverage partnerships to enhance service offerings, expand market reach, and create mutually beneficial business opportunities.
Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
  • Oversee the development of compelling proposals, bids, and presentations for potential clients, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational capabilities.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company while meeting client requirements and industry standards.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze sales performance data, market feedback, and customer insights to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for executive management, providing insights into business development activities, market trends, and future opportunities.
Compliance and Ethical Standards:
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all business development activities and contracts.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, ensuring the company's practices align with these requirements.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the business development team, encouraging creative thinking and the development of unique value propositions.
  • Continuously assess and improve sales processes, strategies, and methodologies to adapt to changing market dynamics and client needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of 5-10 years of successful business development experience in the BPO industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, managing and leading teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market trends and client feedback to drive business strategies.
  • Experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue goals and driving business growth.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
