Job Description:

Ecocoast is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant (Payable) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively interacting with Suppliers to ensure timely payment of payables
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and reconciliation of all accounts
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper documentation and approval of expenditures
• Preparation of accurate Weekly and Monthly Accounts Reports and ensure timely reconciliation of balances
• Ensuring adherence to the Company’s authorization and reporting procedures
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounts payable operations
• Analysing Company expenditure, highlighting risk factors and proposing cost-saving measures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least 5-7 year’s experience in a similar role
• Familiar with IFRS accounting standards
• Experience with Quickbooks is highly desirable. Otherwise, a proven ability to grasp new systems quickly and question the status quo will be essential.
• Prior experience in the UAE would be ideal
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Ability to develop financial models in Microsoft Excel would be a big plus
• Attention to detail and a pragmatic mindset
