Job Description - Healthcare Governance Secretary

Job summary
Job requires typewriting or equivalent qualification Minimum 3 GCSE at grade C/4 or above including English Language or equivalent qualifications/experience Good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities
• Arrange and coordinate multidisciplinary meetings • Formulate agenda and produce accurate minutes • Manage caseload to meet deadlines • Work in a busy office environment with administrative and clerical procedures • Handle confidential and personal issues with sensitivity
Requirements
• Experience in arranging and coordinating meetings • Knowledge of medical terminology • Experience working in the NHS • Knowledge of administrative and office management systems • Ability to handle confidential and personal issues • Good planning and organization skills • Flexible and adaptable to change • Good interpersonal skills • Excellent computer skills • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Good understanding of confidentiality
