Security System Officer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security System Officer to join our team. You will work closely with our security team to monitor and maintain our security systems, enforce security policies and procedures, and respond to security incidents. You will also collaborate with other departments to identify and address potential security risks and develop strategies to minimize them. Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the operation of all security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of security equipment to ensure proper functioning and address any issues or malfunctions promptly.
• Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
• Respond to security incidents, such as unauthorized access, theft, or suspicious activities, in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential security risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct investigations into security incidents, gather evidence, and provide detailed reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in operating and maintaining security systems, such as CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees, clients, and law enforcement agencies.
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of local and federal security laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand and walk for long periods and lift heavy objects if required.
