Senior Backend Developer

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer proficient in Java to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that power our applications. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java.
2. Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
3. Architect efficient and reusable code that follows SOLID principles and design patterns.
4. Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
5. Optimize backend performance and ensure system reliability.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues to maintain system integrity.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and suggest improvements to enhance the development process.
8. Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5-6 years of experience in backend development using Java.
3. Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
4. Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and experience with database design.
5. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
6. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
7. Knowledge of software development best practices including Agile methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD.
8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
9. Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
