Senior Web Developer

The role is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying Property Shop Investment (PSI) websites, from layout to function and according to PSI standards & specifications. Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. As the role takes into consideration user experience and function, a certain level of both graphic design and computer programming is necessary. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web services and program applications is essential to succeeding in this role. The web developer will have an immediate effect on our PSI as a brand and that of our clients, as well as an ongoing impact in solidifying our industry-wide reputation for stellar design. Responsibilities * Consistently create well-designed, tested code using best practices for website development, including mobile and responsive site design
* Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
* Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
* Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
* Create and maintain software documentation
* Taking care of the SEO and rankings and speeds for PSI websites
* Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to PSI operations and activities
* Working closely with Junior web designers and programmers to produce the website
* Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
* Maintain an understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups
* Ensure a professional communication with PSI clients and within internal staff by presenting PSI in the best image
* All client and internal staff communications need to be done through the PSI official number and follow email equities Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences
* Develop a strong knowledge of PSI products and services
* Understand how the benefits of PSI products and services can meet customer’s needs in various business verticals
* Able to handle all flow of a website base on security, speeds, and function wise.

* Taking full ownership on updating and monitoring the company’s main websites and portals maintaining updated content
* Creating newsletters and submitting them
* Back up files from websites to local directories for instant recovery in case of problems
* Register websites with search engines to increase website traffic
* Create web models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data models
* Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
* Develop or implement procedures for ongoing website revision
* Develop databases that support web applications and websites
* Taking care for the SEO and rankings and speeds for the websites
* Develop and document style guidelines for website content
* Document test plans, testing procedures, or test results
* Develop system interaction or sequence diagrams
* Write, design, or edit web page content, or direct others producing content
* Renew domain name registrations
* Write supporting code for web applications or websites
* Design and implement website security measures such as firewalls or message encryption
* Create searchable guides for web page content
* Design, build or maintain websites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media
* Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions
* Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets PSI standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems
* Perform website tests according to planned schedules or after any website or product revisions
* Develop website maps, application models, image templates, or page templates that meet project goals, user needs, as per PSI standards
* Identify or maintain links to and from other websites and check links to ensure proper functioning
* Monitor security system performance logs to identify problems and notify security specialists when problems occur Qualifications * 2 -4 years of experience in Web Developing or similar role
* BS in computer science or a related field (Attested Degree Mandate)
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS(LESS/SASS) and Javascript
* Experience with server-side frameworks such as python, ruby, php, Java, ASP, ASP.NET
* Experience with database systems such as SQL and Oracle
* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
* Great interpersonal and communication skills
