About You:
We’re looking for someone with equal parts creativity and analytical thinking. As an outside-the-box thinker, you’ll have a keen interest in the latest EHS trends and help us bring new and bold ideas to the fore. Importantly, you’re a collaborator and integrator – always looking to support and team up to help propel the team forward. In turn, you’ll get an opportunity to learn and work across many areas of EHS, from safety protocols, environmental sustainability initiatives, health programs, and more.

Here’s a glimpse of what you’d be working on:

• Assist in creating an editorial content calendar for EHS initiatives
• Research industry trends and data that can be leveraged for EHS programs
• Market/media research and reporting activities to monitor and track EHS KPIs
• Write, edit, and review copy for other EHS deliverables
• Possessing specialist knowledge of MS Office applications and software. Must have excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to create impressive presentations!
• Coordinate with other EHS staff, technical staff, and company leadership
• Collaborate with international teams to understand the local demands and challenges
• Support administrative tasks associated with our external and internal EHS events
• Help execute a variety of companywide EHS experiences and events
• Support the EHS team as needed in a variety of hands-on roles and projects and process improvement initiatives

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Recent university degree in Environmental Science, Health, Safety, or a related field from a reputable university or college in the UAE
• First experience in an EHS environment, ideally from an international business setup
• Initial professional experience in safety protocols, environmental sustainability initiatives, health programs, and ideally employee engagement
• Excellent communication skills, rounded with a fluent level in Business English, while Arabic is a big advantage
• Customer-oriented with a clear drive for quality work
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical and Critical thinking skills
• Problem solving mindset
• Creative, Digital, Agile approach
