Job Description - Digital & Social Media Assistant Intern

Job Description

As a Digital & Social Media Assistant Intern, you will work closely with the Digital Marketing team to enhance the online presence and engagement of our brand across various digital platforms. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing strategies, content creation, and social media management within a dynamic and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging and compelling content for digital platforms, including social media posts, blog articles, videos, and graphics. Collaborate with the creative team to ensure content aligns with brand voice and objectives.
  • Social Media Management: Support the management of social media channels by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages. Help develop and implement strategies to increase followership, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with the brand's online community by participating in discussions, addressing inquiries, and fostering positive interactions. Monitor trends and conversations to identify opportunities for engagement and brand advocacy.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Assist in monitoring and analyzing digital and social media performance metrics using analytics tools. Provide regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), including reach, engagement, and conversion rates. Use insights to optimize strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Campaign Support: Support the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and paid advertising. Assist in coordinating campaign assets, tracking deliverables, and ensuring timely execution.
  • Influencer Outreach: Assist in identifying and engaging with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify brand reach and credibility. Coordinate influencer partnerships, including outreach, negotiation, and content collaboration.
  • Digital Asset Management: Organize and maintain digital assets, including images, videos, and graphics, in a centralized repository. Ensure assets are tagged, labeled, and easily accessible for internal and external use.
Requirements
  • Strong passion for digital marketing, social media, and emerging trends in digital technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and social media management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
