Accountant

Job Description:

Whole Foods Market in Abu Dhabi is seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team at the Associate level. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in accounting and possess the personality traits of being resourceful and hardworking. Soft skills such as cooperation and negotiation will also be important for success in this role.

Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements and reports - Analyze financial data and trends - Manage accounts payable and receivable - Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy - Assist with budgeting and forecasting - Support the preparation for audits - Provide financial analysis and recommendations - Collaborate with other departments on financial matters - Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance - CPA certification preferred - Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP - Strong understanding of GAAP - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Detail-oriented and organized - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
