Accountant

Univar is currently seeking a part-time Accountant to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Associate Level Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and analyzing financial data to ensure the company's financial health.

Responsibilities: 1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records 2. Conduct monthly reconciliation of accounts 3. Analyze financial data and create financial reports 4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting 5. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations 6. Assist with audits and financial reviews 7. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes 8. Provide support to management on financial decisions 9. Handle any ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2. Proven experience as an Accountant for a minimum of 3 years 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices 4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 5. Adaptability and ability to work independently 6. Strong negotiation skills and ability to work in a team environment 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software 8. CPA or other relevant certification is a plus
