Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Dubai Duty Free is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Associate to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a part-time basis. As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities: - Review and verify invoices and payment requests - Process payments by check or electronic transfer - Reconcile accounts payable transactions - Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date - Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies - Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding payment inquiries - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports - Assist with month-end closing activities - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts payable processes - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field - Passionate and confident attitude towards work - Strong cooperation and negotiation skills - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel - Knowledge of accounting principles and practices - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
