Remote Accounts Payable

Job Description:

Leucadia National is seeking a Remote Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This part-time entry-level position requires at least 1 year of experience in accounts payable and a strong ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be driven, analytical, and proficient in research to perform the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities: - Review and process invoices accurately and timely - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies - Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records - Assist with month-end closing activities - Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues - Assist with other accounting duties as needed

Requirements: - 1+ year of experience in accounts payable - Excellent organizational and time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Strong analytical and research skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel - Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks) - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
