Accounts Receivable - Work from home

Job Description:

Markel, a leading financial services company, is seeking a diligent and motivated individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Associate. This is a part-time, work-from-home position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable processes and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments.

Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor accounts receivable aging reports - Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels - Process payments received and apply them to the appropriate accounts - Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes - Prepare and send monthly statements to customers - Work closely with the sales team to resolve any payment issues affecting customer relationships - Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to accounts receivable - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency

Requirements: - At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software - Hardworking and driven personality traits - Strong people management and leadership skills - Visa sponsorship, relocation allowance, and disability insurance benefits provided
