Operations Manager

Job Description:

United States Steel in Abu Dhabi is currently seeking a part-time Operations Manager to join our team. As a mid-to-senior level position, the Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all daily operations within the company to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve overall productivity - Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve communication - Manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations - Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety standards - Oversee inventory management and supply chain operations - Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency and reduce costs - Communicate regularly with senior management to provide updates on operational performance - Handle any issues or conflicts that arise within the operations team

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field - Minimum of 6 years of experience in operations management - Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Resilient and driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement - Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of industry best practices and trends - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
