The Operations Manager at American Financial Group in Abu Dhabi will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the company. This part-time position at a mid-to-senior level requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, ensuring that the successful candidate has a strong understanding of operational processes and procedures.
Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. 2. Oversee the daily operations of different departments within the company, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks. 3. Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize resource allocation. 5. Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and other external partners to ensure seamless operations. 6. Lead and mentor a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance. 7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to maintain a high level of operational integrity. 8. Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular reports to senior management on operational performance.
Requirements: 1. Must be driven and adaptable, able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 2. Demonstrated expertise in project management and the ability to drive innovation in operations. 3. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams effectively. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders. 5. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. 7. Experience in the financial services industry is preferred but not required.
