Job Description - Secretary - Work from home

Job Description:


Discover Financial Services is seeking a hardworking and resilient individual to join our team as a Secretary working from home in Dubai. As a part-time position at the Associate Level, the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide administrative support to the team by handling correspondence, scheduling meetings, and managing calendars. 2. Organize and maintain files and records, both physical and digital, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. 3. Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations as needed. 4. Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents. 5. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries and routing communications appropriately. 6. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking. 7. Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management. 8. Utilize problem-solving and negotiation skills to address issues and find solutions efficiently.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or related field are a plus. 2. Proven experience as a secretary or administrative assistant. 3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software applications. 5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 6. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
