American Electric Power is seeking a passionate and reliable Call Center Officer to join our remote team in Dubai, UAE. As a key player in our customer service department, you will be responsible for handling incoming calls, answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to all customers.
Responsibilities: 1. Answering incoming calls and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. 2. Resolving customer issues and complaints with empathy and efficiency. 3. Processing customer orders and updating customer accounts accurately. 4. Providing product information and recommendations to customers. 5. Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues. 6. Collaborating with team members to improve overall customer service and satisfaction. 7. Maintaining a high level of emotional intelligence when dealing with challenging customers. 8. Utilizing time management skills to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently. 9. Adhering to company policies and procedures at all times. 10. Continuously seeking opportunities for personal growth and development within the company.
Requirements: 1. At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role. 2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. 4. High level of emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm under pressure. 5. Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting. 7. Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 8. Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office suite. 9. Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work. 10. Must be a self-starter with a passion for customer service and helping others.
