Customer Service Associate

Job Description:

Expeditors International of Washington is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in customer service roles.

Responsibilities: 1. Provide exceptional customer service to clients through various communication channels such as phone, email, and in person interactions. 2. Process customer orders, shipments, and inquiries accurately and efficiently. 3. Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner. 4. Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction. 5. Utilize creativity and problem-solving skills to address unique customer needs and concerns. 6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 7. Keep up to date with company products, services, and policies in order to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness in finding solutions for customers. 9. Embrace a culture that challenges norms and encourages bold thinking to continuously improve customer service processes.

Requirements: 1. 4 years of experience in customer service roles. 2. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers. 3. Resourceful and independent personality traits. 4. Creativity and problem-solving skills. 5. Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment. 6. Excellent time management and organizational skills. 7. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. 8. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. 9. Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
