Communications Specialist

Job Description:

PPG Industries is seeking a part-time Communications Specialist to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As an associate-level position, we are looking for someone with at least 4 years of experience in communications or a related field. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and possess strong teamwork and strategic planning skills.

Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement communication strategies to promote PPG Industries brand and products. 2. Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications. 3. Manage media relations and coordinate interviews and press events. 4. Analyze communication metrics and provide insights to improve effectiveness. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding. 6. Assist with crisis communication and reputation management. 7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communications.

Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field. 2. 4+ years of experience in a communications role. 3. Strong written and verbal communication skills. 4. Proficiency in MS Office and social media platforms. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Experience with strategic planning and project management.
