Pr Associate

Job Description:

Discovery Communications is looking for a passionate and motivated PR Associate to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. As a part-time Associate at the Associate level, you will be responsible for supporting the PR team in executing communications strategies, building relationships with media outlets, and promoting Discovery's brand and initiatives.

Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and executing PR campaigns - Draft press releases, media alerts, and other PR materials - Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets - Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports - Coordinate media interviews and press events - Assist in managing social media accounts and monitoring online conversations - Support internal communications initiatives - Assist in crisis communication efforts as needed - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on messaging and branding

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of experience in PR or communications - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent time management and organizational skills - Ability to think creatively and innovate in PR strategies - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms - Knowledge of PR best practices and media relations - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Soft Skills: - Strong time management skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines - Ability to innovate and think outside the box in PR strategies
