Job Description - Social Media Manager - Remote Work

Job Description: As a Social Media Manager at Alaska Air Group, you will be responsible for managing and implementing the company's social media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and drive engagement with customers. This is a remote work position based in Abu Dhabi, UAE on a part-time basis at an Associate Level with a requirement of 3 years of experience.


Responsibilities: 1. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement. 2. Manage all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more. 3. Create and curate engaging content for social media posts, including visuals, videos, and written content. 4. Monitor and analyze social media performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize campaigns. 5. Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices to continuously improve strategies. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on brand messaging and initiatives. 7. Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner. 8. Plan and execute social media campaigns to support marketing and promotional efforts. 9. Report on social media performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement. 10. Stay informed about industry developments and competitor activity.


Requirements: 1. Confident and energetic personality traits. 2. Strong decision-making and planning skills. 3. Proven experience managing social media platforms for a minimum of 3 years. 4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions. 6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7. Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms. 8. Knowledge of digital marketing principles and practices. 9. Experience with content creation and graphic design is a plus. 10. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is preferred.
