Relais & Chateau at Thornbury Castle are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our hard working and professional 5* Hotel Team. You will be working in a unique and beautifully restored Castle supporting the operation in delivering essential maintenance across the hotel site. The department aims to maintain a safe and comfortable environment with the highest standards for our guests. As Maintenance Manager you will assume responsibility for Health & Safety within the hotel. You will play a key role in keeping hotel facilities in optimum operating condition by performing planned preventive maintenance. You will work closely with your colleagues in Front Office and Housekeeping to ensure the hotel is kept in an excellent state. You will be able to work using own initiative, be motivated and have a keen eye for detail. About Us Set on 15 acres of beautiful land, Thornbury Castle Hotel is the only Tudor Castle operating as a hotel in England. The Castle has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment program bringing back to life the regal grandeur of its past. Located 20 minutes’ drive from Bristol, it offers 26 rooms and suites, an award-winning restaurant, bar and two unique meeting and conference spaces. As Maintenance Manager, you will report directly to the Hotel Manager. While this is a hands-on operational role, the successful candidate will be confident in coordinating and liaising with external contractors and third-party providers, as well as effectively leading their own team to ensure all on-site maintenance requirements are managed efficiently and to a high standard.
