Tembo is a new and innovative fintech startup, helping a new generation of home-owners get on the ladder faster and for less. We do this by helping families unlock money from existing property, so they can help the next generation buy a home. In our first two years of operations, we will help 1,500 customers buy a home who otherwise couldn’t have, and will save our users over £10 million in interest charges. Beyond home ownership, we are on a mission to transform consumer lending through the power of family. Our aim is to enable each family to operate as their own private bank – lending and gifting money to help buy a home or car, pay for tuition fees or fund in-home care for older relatives.
