Strategic Partnerships Development Sr. Associate
Location: 6PS in London, United Kingdom, 3 days a week in the office Length: 12 month contract Rate: £50 p/h Hours: 9am – 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and lead operational meetings, Influencing and assigning tasks, including to more senior team members/ managing timelines through the development and maintenance of status trackers.
Support BDs with partner conversations and queries where needed.
Project manage a cross-functional program initiative as it scales across multiple partners and markets
Job Description:
Manage relationships with multiple high stakes partners as a key contributor to drive broader partner strategy.
Contribute to the identification, creation, negotiation, and implementation of effective business development agreements that drive results for Google (e.g., bilateral agreements, standardized MOCA templates).
Contribute to the identification, creation, negotiation, and implementation of effective business development agreements that drive PA results.
Contribute to account/partner scoping, development, and prospecting decisions and manage account priorities and allocation of resources.
Own budgetary requirements and technical and business justification to meet project requirements.
Allocate resources within projects, informing and escalating appropriately when external factors impact execution.
Challenge:
Help resolve partner issues and inquiries, business or technical, with multiple approaches to reach an optimal solution.
Build new processes and procedures with foresight to anticipate and address future issues.
Help the team navigate through the implications of problems with known solutions.
Proactively identify ways to grow business in the ecosystem, including setting up new partnerships, pivoting or wave down existing partnerships.
Influence
Influence across the team and with Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to align resources and direction for go-to-market strategy and/or partner initiatives.
Develop rich relationships, internally and externally, offering support and direction to team members and advocating internally for partners.
Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with partners, acting as a primary contact for a partner list.
Guide the integration of multiple adjacent partner plan timelines, goals, and objectives.
Actively ensure the integration of the team's activities and deliverables with other related projects or teams.
Expertise
Act as subject matter expert for managed partners and industry/vertical/market.
Utilize comprehensive knowledge of relevant Google-wide processes and partner ecosystems.
Cross-functional collaboration
Build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders/teams to drive the best partner experience and ensure product excellence.
Product and Partnership strategy development
Drive partner strategy, including new partner and opportunity prospecting. Conduct partner/industry research and collaborate on product strategy.
