A welcoming Independent School in the Borough of Camden is looking to appoint a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join them from September 2025. This is a full-time role working closely with a Year 1 pupil who requires additional support.

The School caters for pupils aged 2-16 across two sites and is set in a leafy and vibrant part of Camden. Known for its supportive ethos and nurturing environment, the School has been praised for the way pupils enjoy learning, behave consistently well, and respect one another. • Supporting a Year 1 child with communication needs

• Working closely during lessons and interventions

• Exposure to on-site speech therapy and occupational therapy sessions

• September 2025 - Full Time - Long Term (with permanent potential)

• MUST have experience supporting children with communication challenges

• Understanding of adaptive technologies to aid communication and learning

• Ability to build a positive relationship with a child who is pre-verbal, calm, and has a great sense of humour

• Team-player with a proactive approach to supporting class learning

• Independent School - ages 2-16

• Rated "Good" in most recent Ofsted

• Praised for fun, exciting lessons and excellent pupil behaviour

• Strong emphasis on respect, wellbeing, and positive relationships

• Supportive Headteacher and SLT with a clear ethos of discovery and creativity

• Located in the leafy Borough of Camden
