we at Prospero are currently recruiting for a highly experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a bright and academically able Year 6 boy with ASD and ADHD, starting this September.

• Location: Bramhall

• Start Date: September 2025

• Duration: Ongoing, reviewed termly - likely to continue until the end of the academic year

• Pay: Competitive

The pupil requires minimal academic support but benefits from having a strong, positive relationship with a trusted adult who can step in proactively when behaviours begin to escalate - especially during unstructured times such as break and lunch.

We're ideally looking for someone who:

• Has significant experience supporting children with ASD and ADHD

• Is calm, consistent, and emotionally intelligent

• Shares a genuine love of sport and/or animals, to help foster rapport

• Can provide both structure and flexibility as needed throughout the school day

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year experience LSA/SEN work for KS1 or KS2 preferred but not required.
· Up to date safeguarding training issued in the past year.
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· Have a valid right to work in the UK.
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS and be enrolled or willing to enrol onto the DBS update service.
