Here at EdEx, we are thrilled to announce we are working with a well-recognised secondary school based in Lambeth that is looking for a 1:1 SEND teaching assistant to join their team September 2025.

The school is known for its exceptional SEND / SEMH care and for making each student's learning process tailored to their individual needs. Within this role, you will support a variety of students across KS3 - KS5 with varying special educational and complex needs such as ASD, ADHD, S&L difficulties, and support those with mental or emotional trauma such as social anxiety.

This role is perfect for those who are looking to gain valuable experience under their belt before pursuing a further career in Therapy, Social Care, Youth Justice, Psychology and more.

Within this role as a 1:1 SEND Support Assistant, you will be presented with a great opportunity to work alongside the school's knowledgeable teachers, on-site therapists, and SENCO to assess the pupil's needs and implement personalised action plans to assist in their social and educational growth.

What this 1:1 SEN Support Assistant role entails;

• 1:1 SEND Support Assistant
• Working across KS3, KS4 & KS5
• Working with Teachers and the SENCO to create and implement improvement plans
• Working alongside pupils with varying levels of SEND needs (ASD, ADHD, Nonverbal etc)
• Provide tailored support to pupils to aid in their development
• £105 - £110 per day
• September 2025 Start
• Long-term contract - Full Time - Term time only
• Based in Lambeth
