1:1 Teaching Assistant

Horizon Teachers is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team in Islington from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education and looking to support pupils in reaching their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe pupil performance and pass observations on to the class teacher.
• Assisting children with challenging behaviour, focusing and listening difficulties.
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions with a focus on phonics and numeracy support.
• Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a supportive learning environment.
