1:1 Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Daventry is seeking a committed and creative 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in lower Key Stage 2. The role is full-time and offers a fantastic opportunity for long-term development, with potential for a permanent contract.

• Providing one-to-one support for a pupil in lower KS2 with ASD

• Using positive behaviour strategies to manage and de-escalate challenges

• Collaborating with teaching staff and parents to track and support progress

• Delivering creative and engaging learning support tailored to the pupil's needs

• Has experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD

• Builds strong relationships quickly and naturally

• Lives locally to Daventry or can reliably commute

• Is patient, flexible, and enthusiastic about inclusive education

• Can commit to full-time, term-time hours
