Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 15:15
Salary: £14.20

Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Morecambe area who are seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with complex behavioural needs.

• One-to-one support for a Year 4 pupil, working outside of the classroom environment

• Providing tailored learning support at a Key Stage 1 level

• Helping to implement strategies to manage behaviour effectively

• Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and outside agencies

• Promoting engagement, emotional regulation, and positive reinforcement

• Experience supporting children with behavioural challenges in a school or specialist setting

• A calm, patient, and resilient nature

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly

• Ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual needs

• Team player attitude and willingness to take initiative

• Previous experience in a similar 1:1 or behavioural support role is essential

• Relevant TA qualification or training (desirable but not essential)

• A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
