Job Description - 1st & 2nd fix electrician

Job Title: First & Second Fix Electrician – Domestic Installations location: Oxford
Salary:£20 to £24
Time: 8am to 3pm with overtime

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and motivated First & Second Fix Electrician. You will be responsible for carrying out high-quality domestic installations, ensuring all work meets the required safety and regulatory standards. From wiring new builds to upgrading existing electrical systems, this role offers variety and the chance to showcase your expertise in residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform first and second fix electrical installations in domestic properties.
Install wiring, sockets, switches, consumer units, and lighting systems.
Work from plans and technical drawings to complete installations efficiently.
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults safely and effectively.
Ensure all work complies with BS7671 wiring regulations and industry standards.
Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth project completion.

Requirements:

Qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
Experience in domestic electrical installations, including first and second fix.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
