Multidrop 7.5T Driver - Chepstow | Temp-to-Perm | Immediate Start

Location: Chepstow
Salary: £15.50 per hour (PAYE) + Holidays
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:15 AM start - approx. 10-hour shifts
8 hours guaranteed pay per day
Start Date: Immediate

The Role

A&G Resourcing Ltd is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Multidrop 7.5T Driver to join our client’s team in Chepstow. This is a temp-to-perm position, with the realistic potential to earn £36,000 - £38,000 per year once fully trained.

The starting salary is £27,932.99 per annum, with the added benefit of daily overtime pay after 8.25 hours and performance bonuses for appliance connections and installations.

Installation Bonus:

• Earn an additional £9.36 per installation (multiple installations possible per day).

After 12 weeks, you’ll attend a week-long, all-expenses-paid induction in Manchester to enhance your skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries efficiently and on time.
• Ensure the safe and accurate delivery of customer goods.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks and maintain high driving standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service during drop-offs.
• Collaborate with your driver mate for manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Be prepared to work two Saturdays per month.

What We're Looking For

• Valid UK driving licence (C1) with experience driving 7.5T vehicles.
• Valid CPC and Tacho card.
• Minimum 1 year of HGV driving experience.
• No more than 3 points on your licence.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic trucks.
• Physical fitness - manual handling and heavy lifting required.
• Experience handling white goods is desirable but not essential.
