7.5T Driver

We are seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver for a temp-to-perm role for our national client based in Blaydon,

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of furniture and assembly at delivery point, ensuring timely service while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires candidates to be physically fit, have good customer service skills and have good local geographical knowledge.

Duties

• Operate a 7.5 tonne lorry for the delivery of goods to various locations.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
• Assembly of flat pack furniture.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver is essential.
• A valid UK driving licence with a category C1 entitlement is required with a CPC and digi card.
• Working Monday - Friday with Nights Out
