Are you an experienced Accountant looking for a new opportunity. My client is seeking a finance professional to join their busy accounts function.

About the Role:

As the Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounts operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency.

This role is available on a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility to suit the right candidate.

Job Spec

• VAT Returns.
• Prepare Monthly Management Accounts which includes preparing the Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and all work that this entails.
• Prepare the Year End Accounts and liaise with Accountancy Practice.
• Submit the composites to the manufacturer's standards
• Ensure all Tax, VAT and other payment liabilities are paid when required.
• Manage Sales and Purchase Ledger
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Bank and Petty Cash Reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations for monthly accounts.
• Complete Cost Comparison monthly and explore saving opportunities.
• Posting Payroll Journal

Experience working within and similar role and available at short notice would be an advantage.
