Accountant

ACCOUNTANT - INSIDE IR35 - INITIAL 3 MONTHS

One of Loriens Aberdeen based Public Sector clients are looking for a fully qualified Accountant to join their team on an initial 3 month contract working hybrid on site in Aberdeen.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Accountant membership of a CCAB recognised professional body eg CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS
• Demonstrable accounting experience including having responsibility for financial planning and monitoring, statutory returns and accounts closure processes and providing financial advice to senior managers.
• Experience of working in a business administration/financial role.
• Proven experience of problem solving.
• Proven experience of assessing service requirements and providing pro- active solutions.
• Proven experience of prioritisation, working to deadlines and planning of workloads.
• Proven communication skills, written and oral.
• Sound knowledge of operation of computerised business/IT systems and Microsoft products.
• Proven organisational/administrative skills.
• Ability to manage change.
• Ability to work on own initiative
