As part of their continued growth, the company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team. This is a pivotal role that supports the financial operations of the organisation and contributes to the company's strategic goals.

The Assistant Accountant will play a pivotal role in providing essential support across various financial functions. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive approach to financial management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate financial records and apply key accounting principles.
• Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits.
• Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making and budget planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or holding a recognised accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of standard accounting practices.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.

Desirable Skills:

• Professional certification such as CIMA or equivalent experience.
• Experience in R&D, project-based, or technical environments.
